Tokyo Auto Salon 2010
TunerPlayground attended the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon in Chiba, Japan at the Makuhari Messe: Nippon Convention Center from January 15th-January 17th with our friends from N1 Concepts.
The 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon consisted of over 400 companies, 700 cars, and 3,000 booths stretched across the several kilometers of exhibit halls that made up the Makuhari Messe. Everything Japanese car tuning related was on display, ranging from drift cars to race cars to car audio and car care products.
During Auto Salon we were able to enjoy the visualgasm provided by all of the amazing cars from Honda, Toyota, Super GT, Junction Produce, Signal Auto, HKS Kansai Service, Parfume, Work, Wedsport, Voltex, Cusco, and much much more. There were also tons of famous Japanese race queens and models walking around and posing with fans. It was especially fun to catch up with some of our friends from the US who came out to the event, Model Nicolette Lacson, Dsport Feature Editor Rich Fong, and industry icon RJ Devera.
We had the pleasure of being in Japan for over a week as we worked to provide you with behind the scenes coverage of the show with our friends at J's Racing who featured TunerPlayground Model: Novella Nikita along with other famous Japanese race queens at their booth all weekend long.
Following the conclusion of Auto Salon, we traveled across Japan to visit with legendary Japanese tuners, including: Spoon Sports, Powerhouse Amuse, J's Racing, M&M Honda, Toda Power, Team 5Zigen, and more!
